Queens and nucs may be available in summer time , usually in July. Queen rearing depends on the weather in May / June . A queen takes 21 days to get mated after hatching out and needs to prove herself before she is ready to head up a full colony.

Mating of queens is weather dependant as well

We use a langstroth frame in our hives , if you are looking for a national nuc we have to make it up especially for you that depends on the bees . Taking orders now for 2015 nucs , a limited amount will be available from mid June headed by 2015 queens . Can be available in Langstroth or National frames.
